Title I
Alta Vista School is a Title I School. Title I is a program that provides extra monies that will be used to work with students who are not achieving district standards in their studies. The extra help will be in the form of specialized instruction, extended learning times, and materials. Students who are to receive the additional help will be identified through the district assessment procedures. Parents will be notified if and when their child receives Title I services. Title I also has a required parent component. There will be several opportunities for parents to participate in activities to assist student performance.
